Serge Sorokko Gallery, one of my favorites in the city, is currently showing seven different permutations of Damien Hirst's Skull screenprints. I found the presentation interesting and reminiscent of the Warhol inspired Dom Pérignon tribute I posted a couple of days ago. iWant. The gallery also has a new rendering of Hirst's "Golden Calf" which provides two different angles of its namesake sculpture which sold for $18 million dollars at auction in 2008. If you are planning on being in San Francisco in the next couple of months you should check it out.
