My three favorite designers are Stella McCartney, Isabel Marant and Vanessa Bruno -- if you've read my blog before this is not new news. Balenciaga, Balmain and Givenchy are also favorites, but I have no occasion to wear these clothes, never mind afford them. I have Stella, Isabel Marant and Vanessa Bruno pieces (more than a few) that rival the price points of the super expensive designers, but I can wear them. The key is I wear them - to client meetings, out to dinner, for happy hour, events at my daughter's school and working at home as a marketing consultant - I wear them to death. I love Vanessa Bruno's spring 2010 collection! I'll pair the little jackets, gauzy dresses and Victorian tops with jeans, flats, boots, etc. I'll wear them often and for a long time.
