isabel marant plans u.s. store

One of my favorite designers Isabel Marant may finally set up shop in the U.S. The designer said she plans to open her first store in  Los Angeles this winter, followed by a second in New York. WWD

on my radar for spring: mesh sandals

Its going to be a tough season for the economically challenged shoe fanatics among us. Many of spring's footwear trends carried over from previous seasons so the good news is that updates are optional not required. Not that necessity after factored into the decision, of course. This spring I am going for mesh shoes like these from Dior. Stella makes them too. I like that these shoes are a mix between boot and sandal but the mesh keeps it light. I'll wear them with jeans, tailored dresses and especially bright florals. Saks

rebecca taylor for spring

I always look to designer Rebecca Taylor  for warm weather camisoles because they are well priced and I find I wear them again and again. This season there are a number of dresses and a one piece (shown here)  in her collection that hold the same appeal for me. I'll wear this with my nude gladitors during the day and my natural cork Maison Margiela heels at night. style.com
