I follow the Paris Couture shows a bit - but not enough to provide a thoughtful blog review about them. I think couture's days are numbered. Fashion is art - but couture has become a bit of a stretch. It feels outdated and gauche* especially with economic times being what they are. Fashionologie remains optimistic and if you are interested in couture she does a fantastic job covering the shows here.
*gauche. Pronunciation \ˈgōsh\. 1. not tactful. Or as my mother defined it to me when I was eight years old: It's like wearing a satin tuxedo to a baseball game.
