Stylephile posts today about a cheeseburger phone, as used by Ellen Page in the movie Juno. It is available at Fred Flare for $26. This site has a fantastic selection of cool gifts for kids, teens and adults. I checked it out today for the first time and love it!
I love this limited edition travel set by Chanel ($175). It contains a sleep mask, skin serum, lip balm, concealer, mascara and gloss -- all the essentials to help make air travel a bit more civilized. At department stores and chanel.com.
Short, engineer-inspired boots look so cute with jeans, loose pants and leggings. I've seen them all over San Francisco - the city with hills so steep it requires a wardrobe of flat boots. I love this pair by Fiorintini + Baker. At Barneys.
The de Young in San Francisco will be the only stop for "Yves Saint Laurent," a 40-year retrospective of the designer. The show opens November 1. The exhibition will have over 120 haute couture creations, like the Mondrian dress shown here, and drawings, photos and videos related to the designer. Through April 5.
November Elle features a very cute and very kitsch Mother pin of brass and plexiglas designed by Stella McCartney. It caught my eye because I own a similar accessory. My grandmother purchased the pin (above) in 1929 and sent it to her mother "Granny" back home in Ireland shortly after she landed on US shores. My great grandmother Granny gave birth to 17 children (SEVENTEEN!!) and wore this pin every day with pride. It was handed down to me by my mother in anticipation of Nadya, who came into my family one year ago today. You can get yours at Stella McCartney in LA for $245.
