happy birthday mom and neimans

Today is my mom’s birthday. It is also Neiman Marcus’. Turns out they are spending it together (they are quite close). When I called to wish my mom a happy birthday she was shopping for shoes for her upcoming European bike tour. When I suggested Nike rather than Neiman’s she responded, “Oh please. I don’t need useful – I just need them to look nice.” And now you know where I get it from. Btw, if you go by a Neiman Marcus store today they will give you the "urban legend" cookie - while supplies last.
